Welcome to Community Skills Development Agency (CSDA) website.
We are currently working in partnership with Cambridge Regional College (CRC) with whom our progress and achievement in course delivery is very substantial. Currently we are delivering a suite of programmes which include NVQs, VRQs and short courses that are pre-requisites to the industry.
Why choose vocational training?
Vocational training offers many advantages over other, more traditional, methods of learning including:
As well as working towards a nationally recognised qualification, you will also be developing skills directly relevant to your chosen career.
- Not only do vocational qualifications get your career off to a great start, they can also be a route into further education.
- ‘On-the-job’ training gained through vocational training is valued highly by employers.
- You will become more effective in your job role and vocational training will help you develop your skills and improve your productivity to gain a real advantage when competing for promotions.
- Training can be personalised to ensure it meets your requirements, and that you work at a pace that suits you.
- Increasing take-up of vocational training is a priority of the Government and as such they have allocated money to fund training; meaning little, or no, cost to you, the learner.
